Millennial Tech Support comes from an inside joke about our elder millennial founder CJ Perea diagnosing and fixing “everyday” tech problems for his friends, family, and neighbors (and then their subsequent referrals).
Eventually he would see his clientele in the grocery isle and ask if they needed any “Millennial Tech Support?”
Over time, he began to just call his service “Millennial Tech Support” and then he began to charge for his services and now, he is starting a business from it.
It’s true that there is an old school way of doing things. Getting found in the phone book was the old school way of listing your business for a reasonable price in order to be found by every person with a phone line; Which coincidentally was every person who could afford a phone!
You don’t have to live constantly online sharing personal details of your life while being under a microscope, but your business needs to have a bare minimum of professionalism to be found by the general public so they can understand what you offer and what they need to do next to purchase services from YOUR BUSINESS!
I really like to setup online digital businesses because they are the fastest way to get someone from a concept to deploying their business dream.
With the right web pages and messaging any idea can come to light. The cost to start a business in the 21st century is almost zero and with even a basic website you can get started selling any product or service for less than $1000 all while automating messages, emails, invoices, and reporting along the way so you don’t have to stare at a computer all day. That’s my job!
I come from a background of internet marketing and advertising in Silicon Valley running advertising campaigns for companies like Uber, Lyft, Intuit, and other big tech companies. Not wanting to become an internet marketer, I decided to start building websites for myself and friends on WordPress, Wix, Weebly, and other editors since 2015 and have now been doing it for several years.
